About the EACC Global Internship Program:
The (EACC) has partnered with UC International Services to offer EACC members an international business solution: a global internship program – also referred to as the J-1 Visa Exchange Program.
The J-1 Visa allows university students and young professionals from abroad to come to the United States for up to 12 months as interns for full-time, paid exchange programs at eligible EACC member companies.
Interns participate in structured and guided work-based internship programs in their academic fields. The program recognizes the need for work-based experience; provides on-the-job exposure to American techniques, methodologies, and expertise; and enhances interns’ knowledge of American culture and society.
Additionally, host companies find many benefits in bringing an international intern to their U.S. location:
- Learn about an intern’s culture, business practices, and language for company’s future business development in an intern’s home country
- Evaluate and train an intern for employment in home country upon completion of the program
- Support company’s global talent development by providing U.S. experience to future employees at a location outside the U.S.
The University of Cincinnati is the State Department-designated program sponsor, and UC will work with its partner institutions across Europe (and around the world) to market and find qualified internship candidates for your position.
