Description
Please join us on October 18 for a Q&A session with a representative from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, who will be addressing concerns and hot topics related to business visitor travel to the United States.
Moderated by Susan J. Allison, an experienced immigration attorney from Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, we will touch on topics related to the appropriate use of B-1 business visitor visas and the visa waiver program, the “travel ban”, work vs. business purposes and many other topics. As immigration continues to top the news stories each day, this timely informational session will benefit any who invite individuals from outside the United States to visit the Greater Cincinnati area. Additionally, if you have specific concerns or questions, please let us know at susan.allison@dinsmore.com or eacc@europe-cincinnati.com so that we can incorporate your questions into the program.
- What type of documents should I carry when traveling to the U.S. for business?
- I visit the U.S. frequently. Is there a specific amount of business travel to the U.S. that could be considered an issue?
- Does CBP have the right to inspect my smart phone?
- I travel to the U.S. to meet with my team and collaborate on projects using the Visa Waiver Program. Is this appropriate?
