As Germany prepares to elect its new parliament, the Bundestag, on September 24, the European American Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council and Honorary Consul Martin Wilhelmy will welcome German Consul General to the Midwest Herbert Quelle to the Greater Cincinnati region.

Herbert Quelle has headed the German Consulate General in Chicago since July 2014. In his diplomatic career spanning 37 years he spent a sabbatical at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Harvard; served as German Ambassador to Azerbaijan, and, in various positions, in London, Warsaw, Havana, Pretoria and Los Angeles.
