Description
Workplace Harassment: A Cross-Cultural Discussion
Workplace harassment in all its forms (such as sexual harassment and bullying) is not only damaging to productivity and morale – it can be a source of legal liability. As more companies employ an increasingly global workforce with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, having sensitivity to, and awareness of, such cross-cultural diversity can help enable employers to better define, communicate and enforce appropriate behavior and standards in the workplace.
This seminar, featuring a panel discussion, will provide real-life examples of how miscommunication and misunderstandings resulting from cultural differences can lead to potential conflict and will provide managers and supervisors with tips and tools to help ensure that their workplace is welcoming, safe and productive.
