      Xavier was founded in Cincinnati nearly two centuries ago. As a community of professional educators firmly grounded in Jesuit tradition and values, Xavier prepares students for an exciting but increasingly complex world by always striving to be better. With over 7,000 total students, including nearly 5,000 undergraduates, choosing from over 90 majors, 60 minors, 40 master’s and three doctoral programs, Xavier stands out for its challenging academics enriched by a strong and supportive community.
