EACC Behind the Scenes offers a snapshot of EACC staff activities that may not be widely visible to our membership base, but nonetheless, contribute to the EACC's mission and enhance benefits for our members and the region. Below, please find updates from the EACC team.

Marketing Forum & Import/Export Forum Update
As a follow up to my previous article, the Import/Export Forum and the Marketing Forum were both held earlier this month, on August 18 and August 25 respectively.

Hosted at DHL, the Import/Export Forum brought together import/export experts, and the group spent time covering multiple import compliance aspects via a presentation and interactive discussions. What a powerful event!

Last week’s Marketing Forum at First Group was also very powerful as participants took a deep dive into companies’ internal and external brand building efforts across multiple markets. Through analyzing case studies, the group focused on values and how to convey them via a corporate brand.

Both events were very informative for participants, and we are looking forward to the last forums of the year during Q4. The co-leaders are already working on the programs and logistics of these events. Please stay tuned for updates and communication on forum dates.

    Bold Fusion
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending Bold Fusion, an annual convergence of young professionals in the Greater Cincinnati region produced by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, an EACC partner, under its HYPE (Harnessing Young Professional Energy) initiative.

Hundreds of young professionals attended this half-day YP summit at Jack Casino, which focused on intrapreneurship, the act of behaving like an entrepreneur while working within a traditional organization, and featured speakers from companies including EACC member LPK, Macy’s, United Way and 84.51°. The event’s keynote speaker was Former Microsoft Executive and Intrapreneurship Expert Chitra Anand.

As the EACC continues to grow its own young professionals platform, this event was a fantastic chance to network with peers, engage in collaborative discussion, share the EACC’s mission and celebrate the talent and energy of young professionals across the Greater Cincinnati region.

The EACC looks forward to hosting our next YP Happy Hour at Rivertown Brewery and Barrel House on October 13. Click here to register.
