The EACC has partnered with leading peer executive organization Vistage
and Vistage Chair Jamie Overbey
to develop a unique and professionally managed Executive Forum composed of EACC member executives. Preparations for this new EACC Executive Forum are well underway, and last week, Vistage held its Executive Summit at Jack Casino in Cincinnati.
Participating EACC member executives and EACC Event & Communication Coordinator Dayna Wood had the opportunity to attend to witness the true Vistage experience firsthand.
The Executive Summit featured breakfast breakout sessions and renowned speakers like Verne Harnish who shared insights on topics including communicating through storytelling, tools and techniques for growing an industry-dominating business, and economic trends impacting the United States and the world. Attendees were engaged during the Summit through group exercises and peer collaboration, including discussions on leadership styles and roles (the entrepreneur, the leader, the dreamer, the innovator), analyzing the dynamics of confidence, and identifying key business constraints. Lunch breakout sessions also provided guests the opportunity to experience and practice "Issue Processing" focusing on topics including organizational change, rapid evolution of a traditional leadership team in a traditional industry, and talent acquisition.
The full day event concluded with a networking reception.
The EACC looks forward to launching the EACC Executive Forum powered by Vistage later this year, with this peer advisory experience resulting in distinct competitive advantages and improved results for participating companies. Vistage has a long and quantified record of accelerating revenue growth in member companies, as well as the leadership capabilities of participating executives. This new Executive Forum geared toward the specific interests and challenges of C-level executives leading global operations is another unique benefit the EACC brings to its members.
