celebrated the opening of its expanded facility on October 12.
HAHN, based in Germany with U.S. operations located in Hebron, Kentucky, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony presided by Campbell County Judge-executive Steve Pendery, representing Northern Kentucky Tri-ED
, also an EACC partner.
The $3 million, 21,000-foot expansion at HAHN, which has been located in Hebron since 2001, will allow for more production and up to 30 more jobs.
“We are excited to start the next phase of our growth in Northern Kentucky, which has been a tremendous source of talented workforce, quality customers and strong partnerships,” said John Baines, President of HAHN Automation . “Our expansion is the result of the tremendous growth and success we’ve achieved as a leading advanced manufacturing company.”
The expansion brings the facility’s total size to 46,000 square feet. It will add 20 to 30 new jobs to its staff of 75 full-time workers, 50 of whom are Kentucky residents.
The ribbon cutting was done by one of the company’s own robots.
HAHN Automation supplies custom automation equipment for the automotive, household and pharmaceutical industries.
