Last week, Miller-Valentine Group hosted the second EACC board meeting of 2016.

Following brief roundtable introductions, board members voted to approve the Executive Committee structure, as well as the 2016 budget.

EACC Board President Chris Knueven and EACC Board Member Drew Collins went on to introduce the meeting’s key topic of discussion: Affinity Programs. Participants were asked to consider whether the EACC should explore such programs and what types of programs would most benefit EACC members and the organization as a whole. Participants gathered in three groups for an engaged brainstorming session to formulate their top three recommendations.

The session closed with each participant selecting their top two areas of focus. The resulting recommendations will be further explored as the EACC continually looks to offer its members unique and diverse benefits.

In addition to current EACC board members, representatives of EACC member companies eligible for a board position (Sustaining Partner level membership or above) in 2017, who have confirmed their candidacy, were also in attendance.
