, EACC member Pilot Chemical Company
has appointed Glynn Goertzen President of its recently acquired Liquid Minerals Group.
Pilot Chemical purchased Liquid Minerals, which manufactures products for the power generation, marine industries, oil and gas, and refinery markets worldwide, in June 2016.
In his new role, Mr. Goertzen will be responsible for managing all facets of Liquid Minerals’ existing platform and expanding its products into new markets and applications. He’ll also continue to identify growth opportunities for Pilot through acquisitions and partnerships as Vice President of Business Development.
Goertzen has been Vice President of Commercial for Pilot since 1998.
Pilot is Greater Cincinnati’s 30th-largest private company, according to Courier
research. It specializes in providing high-quality products and services to the household and industrial detergent, personal care, lubricant, oilfield, emulsion polymerization, disinfecting and sanitizing industries and remains the world’s largest manufacturer of disulfonates.
