EACC Health & Wellness Conference Re-Cap and PowerPoint Presentations
On May 25th, over 300 EACC members and guests attend the EACC’s Health & Wellness conference and gala dinner celebration. The Health & Wellness conference explored the challenges and opportunities organizations face as health care policies undergo dramatic changes locally, nationally and abroad. International experts, policy makers and healthcare industry leaders convened at The Westin in Downtown Cincinnati to discuss issues like the cost, responsibility and impact of wellness programs on the international business community.
The Health and Wellness conference featured five panels focusing on topics such as comparative overviews of European and US healthcare systems, the corporate response to healthcare policy changes, wellness programs, corporate perspectives and challenges specific to the Greater Cincinnati region specifically. Dr. Michael Roizen, of the Wellness Institute at the Cleveland Clinic gave a powerful luncheon keynote presentation on the implication of a population’s health on global competitively and the ability we each have to reverse disease processes by controlling what we eat and living a healthy lifestyle.
Following the Health & Wellness conference, the EACC hosted its annual gala dinner celebration.
