Message from EACC Executive Director

Thanks to a high level of members’ engagement in EACC business seminars, roundtables, networking events and one-on-one business development meetings, the first half of 2012 has been very productive. Since January we welcomed 23 new companies (7 European based: 4 German, 1 Swiss, 1 Dutch, 1 French). Many were introduced to the EACC by existing EACC member companies. Information, contacts and best practices have been shared profusely among members to support the growth of Greater Cincinnati companies in Europe, welcome and grow European companies here and raise the visibility and profile of Greater Cincinnati as a region that is well equipped to support transatlantic trade.

Over the summer, EACC will be involved in strategically planning its future. On July 12th, the EACC Board Members will participate in its annual strategic board meeting to set future goals and actions aligned with the EACC’s mission. During the months of July and August, the EACC staff will have more time to devote to one-on-one interactions with its members to learn about issues and opportunities companies face in a transatlantic business environment. The findings will guide us in the planning of EACC activities for 2013. We invite all of our members to participate actively by providing feedback on their needs and expectations.

We hope to share some fun and relaxing time with many of our members this summer at the following EACC and EACC Partner events: July 5th Stammtisch, July 13th Alliance Francaise Bastille Day, August 2nd Taft Museum Dinner in Provence.

Happy summertime!
